Where is the summer going?? It's been flying by. As for June, I am more than ok with it going far far away. I hope I never have to relive another month like it. BUT what would life be without problems and trials to help us enjoy the good times right???

As for the 4th of July weekend. I had lots of fun with lots of swimming and bbq's. My little Austin can swim all by himself now! My kids sure are growing up on me! We haven't even left the house today. It's been clean the house and relax day. Austin just woke up from a 3 HOUR nap. That NEVER happens! That just tells me how exhausted my kids are from the hours they put in in the pool this weekend.

All I can say is I am so grateful for a good group of friends and family. I TRULY don't know where I would be without them. THANK YOU to everyone who showed your love to me this month and was there for me. I needed it. Like I said- I couldn't live without my family and friends.

And what post would be complete without some pics??

Big Changes for this 5 Year Old

This little sassy pants melts my heart, and drives me to insanity everyday. I wonder everyday if she is 5 or 15. She has attitude, she loves music (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Selena Gomez to name a few...), Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel and singing and dancing. I came into my room today to her blasting Selena Gomez on the Ipod and dancing and singing in front of the mirror herself.

On Mother's Day they made books in school for us.

Sienna's reasons she loves me:

Because I let her wear her bikini (heaven help me, she has one and LOVES it)

Because I taught her to make her bed

and Because I let her wear different earrings everyday to match her outfit.

I just had to laugh!

Oh but I love her. She really is just me reincarnated. We have the same exact personality but she is much smarter than I ever was. That's for sure. Always asking the deepest questions and I don't even know the answers.

She is finishing up her second year of school before she heads off the kindergarten. (*tear*) 1/2 tears of happiness, 1/2 of sadness.) Her dance recital is coming up that she is VERY excited for with 2 of her favorite friends. I can't wait for her to start this next stage in her life, but it still breaks my heart that she is growing up!

Easter 2011

It's official. I suck at blogging! Oh well. Things have been crazy around here! I can only imagine when I have a few kids toting around to their activities. Oh well- the joys of life! Easter was fun this year! We didn't have any family in town so we made our own activities with friends! (Well and my cousin's kids so that's as close as we get to family around here!) We had an easter egg hunt with a bunch of families in our ward. We went to lunch at Firehouse Subs with some friends and then came home and dyed easter eggs! I personally think that is such a dumb tradition but my kids love it! Actually Austin fell asleep on the way home from lunch and woke up as all his friends were leaving from coloring the eggs. He was SO mad, so we had to get out more dye and I let him dye some we had already done in other colors. He didn't know any different though so who cares! haha! Sunday we went to church and then just hung out as a family and enjoyed each others company. The kids were NOT cooperating for my Sunday pics but oh well! It's there true personalities! It was a fun weekend!

Austin and Carson being SUPERMAN!!

After posting this, I remember why I hardly blog! It takes too long!! Maybe if I did smaller posts!

5 Years Old!

I still can't believe my little girl is 5. I just was going through all the MANY baby clothes we have just getting rid of some, organizing etc.. 5 years of clothes for a girl can kill ya! =) I have WAY too many- let's hope I can use some of these clothes again when I finally get around to having another kid!

Onto my precious, crazy little Sienna. This girl keeps me on my toes, that's for sure. Things have been so busy lately and the only reason I'm posting now is because Sienna woke up with the flu. It was my turn to teach and we had to cancel last minute. (sorry moms!) But this little girl was born on Valentine's Day which is PERFECT for her. She loves that the whole world celebrates her birthday!;D Red, pink, the hearts, the valentines- it is a pretty fun day to have your birthday! (Except for the fact, it flew out the window as a holiday for me now!)

On her big day, we had heart pancakes and pink milk in honor of Valentines Day! She got a camera and princess Wii game from her cousins which she loves. We had lunch with grandma Karen and then off to the Disney store we went! She picked some Cinderella dress up shoes that light up and then wanted tennis shoes. So we went to Children's Place where she picked out the most sparkly bright shoes with peace signs! (she loves peace signs for some reason!)
It took everything in me to just let her pick and say "ok."

We went to dinner at her favorite place- In N' Out- and then came home and had cake and ice cream as a family with grandma and grandpa.

I dont have a pic but both her grandparents also got her a new Barbie bike that she LOVES!

We had a fun low-key day! We didn't do too much because we took the kids to Disneyland the next week! That post to come later...
Sienna LOVES: (for my memory)
music and singing (her fav is Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift)
playdates with her friends- she would have one all day, everyday if I let her
hanging out at grandma & grandpa's, with just her, so she gets ALL the attention
dance and school (everyday I get, "mom, what do I have today?")
In n' Out and Cafe Rio
seeing her cousins
riding her bike and motorized car
playng with Austin, which 99% of the time ends in a fight!
shopping (especially Target)
Sorry for this long post but I want to remember!

This is how Austin has been dressed most of the morning, playing with his cousins who are over, and watching TV. It just makes me laugh how girls are born to play princess and boys, superhero figures. Buzz & Spiderman- 2 of his favs. AND he has his Batman shirt underneath all those layers.

See that coffee table right there? My awesome husband built it and then stained it. I would take some credit but I didn't do much. He took right over. I seriously lucked out. Aaron can figure out, fix, build, create, just about anything out there and he works his butt off for us! I guess I'll keep him. ;D

It's ok that it's 11 am and I'm still in my jammies blogging right?? haha.

Photo Friday

I am going to try to take a pic and write something fun we did that week each Friday! Today we are lucky enough to have our cousins Markie and Graham over while their mom is having a baby!! YAY!! We can't wait to meet the little guy. Michelle and I usually like to have our babies a few days apart. I am sad to not be joining in this time! =) But only because EVERYONE around me is having babies!! We live right up the street from each other, so it is so fun for our kids to grow up together! Especially since Michelle is MY cousin and none of my kids actual cousins live around here.

*just got a text from my friend Elizabeth with a pic of her brand new baby boy- so precious!
*waiting to hear from Whitney on her new little girl!!
*and for Michelle's baby to be here!!

While I was typing this these two were having fun outside spitting milk at each other....lovely huh?;D Good thing they're cute!

They're just a little guilty with there milk faces.hahaha.

this little boy
mascara left on the bathroom counter

How can I possibly get mad at that precious little face???

He was so proud of himself too!!

He is such a quiet little destructor....but I love him anyways!!!

Three Years Old!

Austin turned 3 last weekend! I honestly wanted to cry, but we had a fun day! The night before his birthday we took him to Target and told him to pick out whatever toy he wanted. He chose a big Buzz Lightyear! (surprise, surprise..haha!) He has Woody and he LOVES it so we added Buzz to the collection. On his actual birthday this is what we did:

Morning: He requested his favorite. Chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milk. Took 2 bites as usual. (this kid DOES NOT eat EVER!)

Grandma & Grandpa came over to give him his new Toy Story bike from both grandparents!

(Sidenote: I tried talking A into getting a bike put together at Wal-Mart. NO- he wanted Toy Story. (how did he even know they had them?) SO I had to call 6 different stores until I found the very last one in stock at Toys R Us. Good thing my hubby is handy and can put anything together in 10 minutes with his busy schedule...)

Lunch: Cafe Rio with his grandma and grandpa

Then we headed to St. George so he could have a party with his cousin on Aaron's side. They're 8 hours apart. Austin wanted a spiderman party. Statlen wanted a Buzz & Woody party. SO we had both. We had pizza and cake at a park with almost all the cousins and Granny & Papa Bruce! A fun time was had by all! Saturday birthdays are the best!
Austin LOVES his bike and is always begging to go outside and ride it. Good thing it has been in the 60's for a couple weeks now so we can go to the park and ride outside everyday!

I love Vegas the months of October to about April!! Can't beat it!
Happy Birthday to my little man! Time- please slow down...please!

My Babies Are Growing Up...

*picture done by my friend May. just a random moment she caught of my kiddies.
"I'll like you for always, i'll love you forever, as long as I'm living my babies you'll be"
My babies are growing up on me. Austin will be THREE on Saturday and Sienna, 3 weeks after that, will be FIVE!! NOOOOO!! It honestly makes me tear up a little bit. I love the ages they are at. Granted, there are plenty of fights, fits, and whining that happens around here. I still love them with all my heart and think they are at SUCH a fun age. I can take them pretty much anywhere and not want to pull my hair out! I just wanted to take a moment and cry. =) I know they are still little but I still can't believe how fast the time has gone. I cherish every second that is a happy, fun moment with them and hope I can be close with them forever and hope they don't cause me TOO much grief as they grow!

*As I'm typing this Sienna is blowing in a straw making it whistle in my face and laughing like it is the funniest thing she has heard...i tell ya I was sent this little angel to teach me patience....everyday is such a joy with her!! haha!

Disney On Ice

For the 2nd year in row, Sienna and I went to Disney On Ice. She has been asking about going for months and so off we went! We had dinner at Outback at her request. Nothing like some Mac' A Roo N' Cheese! Then off we went to the show. She loved the princesses and asked me if they were going back home to their castle. Precious- the innocence of a child! It was fun and it is always nice to have some one on one time with her.

We definitely could use some sun- that's for sure! We look WAY too white!

At dinner time....

The wonderful princesses!!

And this picture is just too funny to not post! These two were cuddling on the couch (WHICH IS A RARE THING) and I thought I better get a pic before hair was being pulled, slapping, pinching- you get the idea. Sibling Love!
