My poor little guy has jaundice really bad so they have brought in some lights as you can see. He just has to lay there under them. It wasn't so bad with one light, but his levels kept going up so now he has two on him at all times. If his level went up 1 more point he was going to have to be put in the hospital but thankfully the next day it went down 2 points! Yay! We have had to keep going to Quest to get his blood drawn. He gets a break today though!
Sienna LOVES her new brother! She constantly is trying to put his binkie in his mouth, help me burp him, give him kisses and tell me she wants to hold him. It is just precious but sometimes I get a little annoyed and she gets in trouble! She isn't mean to Austin so much as she has been acting up doing naughty things to get attention. Hopefully this will stop soon as she adjusts! Last night Aaron told her to look at him (she was getting in trouble AGAIN) and she closed her eyes and starting snoring like she was sleeping. How do you NOT laugh? We just love her and it is fun to see her with her new brother even if she drives me CRAZY a lot of the time. Thank you mom for coming and taking her and helping with her quite a bit!
Here he is on his machines again! My poor buddy and he got circumsized (spelling??) as well! What a tramatic experience for mom and baby boys! I am just adjusting to this 2 children thing! It's not as bad as I thought yet BUT he sleeps pretty much all the time. Newborns are SO much easier the second time around! He is nursing great and takes a bottle and is so much fun to just hold. Well that is all for now! Congrats to Michelle on baby Graham and my sister in law Tiffany had her baby boy Statlun 8 hours after Austin! So many little cousins! I love it!
Austin LeRoy finally joined our family on January 22, 2008 at 3:46 p.m. weighing 7lbs. and 20 inches long. He is such a good baby so far,and we are so glad he is healthy and strong! I wish he could just stay this little forever! They grow too fast! It has been a little crazy but we are all doing well and I just wanted to update you all for now!
So I should be sitting in church but I didn't go today. Why you ask? 1) I have major cramps. 2) No church clothes fit.. I just want to be in sweats. and; 3) I don't need my young women telling me how huge I am and everyone else commenting on the fact that my baby still hasn't come! AAH! Seriously will someone just kill me? So instead I am sitting at home watching cartoons with Sienna in my baggy sweats and writing on my blog. Thank you to my husband who took all my stuff for young womens that needs to be given out!
On another note, if this kid hasn't come by tomorrow (which with my luck is not happening) then they are inducing me at 10 pm tomorrow night. I used to want to go natural and try not to be induced, but at this point with all the contractions and nothing happening- I don't even care! Just get this kid out of me! Okay well I just had to vent. Thanks for listening! =)
My newest update for those of you I haven't talked to is... I went to the doctor on Monday and I am dilated to a 3 and he is ready to come out anytime! I had really bad contractions all Sunday night but they have somewhat stopped and just come and go! The doctor said I can come in to the hospital if I have constant contractions for an hour, my water breaks, or they will induce me next week! I am just glad to see an end in sight.. this is getting crazy playing the waiting game! But I have been cherishing every moment with my little crazy Sienna before Austin comes too! I feel bad because I have been a little ornery with her because she is so busy and I am just so pregnant and sick of picking up her messes! She tests me all day long by doing things I say NO to! Here come the terrible twos!! I am going to cherish every second this baby can't move around because I did not enough with Sienna! I will keep you posted, but that's the news for now!
So I am a little late but here are a couple pictures of Aaron & Sienna in Utah. They went out and built a snow man and I think Sienna loved every second of it! She ran all over in the snow and would yell "stuck!!" when she got in a little too deep. It was hilarious but so cute!
Well this is a little late but things have been a little crazy! I am a little upset at myself because I barely took any pictures this year, so you get to see Christmas morning!=) (I blame it on being a fat tired pregnant lady) We spent Christmas Eve at my Grandma & Grandpa Albright's with the whole family just hanging out. We spent the night at my parents for Christmas and it was so fun to see Sienna excited with all her toys. She got lots of baby stuff that she plays with non-stop, books, barbies, dolls etc..etc..! She was so spoiled! She got a children's saddle from Aaron's parents. She won't be able to use it for some time. ( I won't allow it yet even though both her grandpas are cowboys!!) We had a big breakfast with just my family on Christmas day and just hung out as a family. Overall it was a fun and relaxing Christmas! After Christmas we went up to my parents house in Springville, Utah and had fun just hanging out and relaxing..pics to come!
